The Thera-vital is a motor-assisted exercise device, fully wheelchair accessible and comes with a brilliant colour display and built-in feedback software for exercise training. Often referred to as a Passive Exercise System, Thera-vital offers passive, active and active with assistance/resitance exercise modes.

Offering lower body and (optional) upper body exercise, the motor can initiate the exercise session. As the user’s extremities begin to move through a range of motion they are benefiting from increased blood circulation, gentle stretching and “warming” up the muscles. When they are ready, the user can begin pedaling on their own (active) and adjust the resistance to suit.

Five continous feedback indicators on the large color display screen allow the user to see their progress during the active and or passive therapy session. A summary report of the enitre exercise session is displayed at the end of each session. Once actively exercising, the colour display provides the user with all information as well as a motivational biofeedback screen on their workout. Symmetrical training can also be used, especially with stroke patients, to improve Right-Left deficits.

The Upper Body component (CMG-110) adds versatility to the Thera-Vital exerciser and allows a more complete work out. Picture shown includes both Lower Body and Upper Body components.
